Learn to Play/Learn to Skate
Saratoga Youth Hockey will be partnering with Dave Randall of North American Hockey Systems to hold a 15-week Learn to Skate/Learn to Play program where skaters will learn the fundamentals of skating and the basics of hockey in a fun environment.
Ages
1/1/2013 to 12/31/2021
When
Saturdays from 8:15 - 9:15 am, beginning November 15th thru March 21st. *Please note that some Saturday sessions may not be held, or transition to a Sunday due to ice availability. The full schedule will be shared in advance of the program.
Where
Saratoga Springs Ice Rinks
GEAR
Skaters must be in full hockey gear (helmet, neck guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey gloves, hockey pants, shin pads, socks, skates, and stick) to participate in the program.
Jerseys will be provided.
COSTS
Option 1: Registration for the program only, which will be $175. If you select this option, the expectation is that you will arrive at the first session with all of your own gear (as listed above). You can obtain used gear at Play it Again Sports or Sideline Swap.
Option 2: Registration plus full gear for $475. If you select this option, you will be sent information on how to get sized at Pure Hockey in Clifton Park and will receive a link to order your gear bundle, which will arrive at your home before our first session. This option will not be available after 10/15, as gear will not be available by the November start date.

LTS/LTP 2024/2025
Saratoga Youth Hockey will be partnering with Dave Randall of North American Hockey Systems to hold a 15-week Learn to Skate/Learn to Play program on Saturdays from 8:15 - 9:15 am, beginning November 2nd.
Over 15 sessions, skaters will learn the fundamentals of skating and the basics of hockey in a fun environment. The program is open to kids ages 4-12.
